Thank you for checking out Your 2nd Office. As owner and creator, I wanted to take a somewhat unique approach to telling you about myself and why I created this company - none of that stuffy background info that most people don't read. So here goes...

My travels over the past twenty years have taken me to live in five states and two other countries (Canada & Panama). Each move provided me with a wealth of experience that has culminated in the creation of Your 2nd Office. For example, I ....

worked in the Halophyte Biotechnology Laboratory at the University of Delaware, College of Marine Studies, and at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John Canada doing everything from conducting experiments, creating graphics, and co-authoring peer-reviewed scientific articles to purchasing supplies and budget management.

assisted the faculty with their survey research projects and developed computer instruction for the faculty and students at the School of Nursing at the University of Newfoundland in St. John's, Canada;

managed the Production & Interview Departments at a financial services research company in Maryland;

was part of a successful consulting group for a financial services research company based in Tampa, FL;

worked with small and large corporations as well as individual entrepreneurs on consulting projects helping them with research, development of marketing materials and providing affordable, quality, SEO friendly web sites;

led the start-up and operations of a non-profit organization as well as assisting other non-profit organizations with marketing, logo creation and program coordination.

was Director of Business Operations for a manufacturing start-up company.

Such diverse experiences have enabled me to constantly challenge myself to learn more things and adapt to new environments in order to meet changing demands. However, like many others, I became part of the unemployment statistics of our current economy. Unwilling to wait for something to come my way, I spent time determining what I could do with the wide skills set and experience I had acquired over the years in order to also help others.

The result is the creation of Your 2nd Office! The feedback I have received for this business model has been outstanding and I look forward to continuing to use my experience and professional skills to help others. I hope to hear from you soon!
